Director Ted E. Haynes

Ted E. Haynes, a life-long storyteller, co-founded Confluence Productions in an effort to bring character driven entertainment to the screen. To date Ted has written, produced, directed, and even acted in dozens of short and feature films winning numerous accolades for his work.

While contributing to the film community Ted has established a successful professional background in sales management. This enables him to have a strong grasp on the business aspect of the film industry to ensure commercial as well as artistic success.

Ted currently resides in St. Pete Beach, FL with his wife Suzie McGugin, co-founder of Confluence Productions, and their two dogs.

Director Statement

Mental illness remains a taboo topic that demands greater awareness beyond traditional Public Service Announcements, documentaries, and heavy handed dramas. The producers of Tics have all been personally impacted by mental illness.

The expectation is that our unique take on the topic will not only entertain but create a new audience - one not otherwise enlightened - and drive greater awareness for change.
